“There are many locations across the world that do not have luxury resorts, despite the fact that there are beautiful landscapes, rich tourist resources, and potential for real estate price growth,” said Mr Taihei Yamada, Director of Amber International Holdings.

“In pursuit of relaxation and peacefulness, Western tourists are leaving for Kampot which still retains it’s beautiful nature, heritage, and temples,” Mr Yamada explained while adding that there is a clear demand-and-supply gap in luxury resorts in the province.

Scheduled for completion in Q2 of 2020 with operations expected to start in Q3, this luxury resort is managed by Cova Thinking with the main contractor BSN, builder of the luxury Alila Resort and Anantara Resort.

Upon completion, the resort will be operated by Maads, the experienced Cambodian hotel operator.
