Sen Sok Attracts Most Boreys While Chroy Changva Becomes Most Popular

Among the 12 districts in Phnom Penh, Sen Sok district holds most borey projects while Chroy Changva district is becoming more popular, according to the first quarterly report by international real estate agent CBRE Cambodia issued on 09 April 2019.

Among the four sectors studied, the landed property sector is becoming one of the main sectors for the property market with the report finding that Sen Sok district has attracted more than borey 45 projects. In contrast, Toul Kork district has the least number of boreys with less than 5 projects in the first quarter of 2019.

However, for future development trends, CBRE Cambodia said that Chroy Changvar district is gaining popularity amongst mid-range to high-end developers.

Regarding types of boreys including flats, link houses, shophouses, twin villas, and villas, the flats and link houses are the most popular unit types.

Average prices of those unit types range from US$101,144 for flats, US$108,505 for link houses, US$202,775 for shophouses, US$262,472 for twin villas, and US$789,629 for villas.
