5 years, Svay Rieng Provincial Authority registered 115 villages and issued over 130k plots of land

The Svay Rieng provincial authorities have achieved a remarkable feat in the last five years, systematically registering land in 115 villages, 22 communes, and Sangkat in 8 districts. HE Men Vibol, Governor of Svay Rieng Province, made this announcement during the press conference on “Success in the past 5 years” of Svay Rieng Provincial Administration held on 27 April 2023.

The provincial authorities have issued a whopping 133,737 land titles to property owners while separately registering 18,008 plots of land. Notably, the authorities have resolved 399 out of 663 land disputes out of court, rejecting 193 complaints and referring 13 to the national level. Only 14 complaints remain unresolved.

Moreover, the provincial administration has provided social land concessions by constructing 200 houses in the first phase and 200 houses in the second phase for veterans in the Romeas Hek district.

Additionally, the province has granted social land concessions to 300 hectares of veterans near the Cambodian-Vietnamese border line in Chantrea commune, Chantrea district, and Tnaot commune, Kampong Rou district, Svay Rieng province. (Read more)

Furthermore, the provincial administration has issued construction permits for 168 projects, signifying the region’s growth in the construction sector. The province’s remarkable achievement in registering over 130,000 plots of land in the last 5 years is undoubtedly a significant development for the real estate industry in Svay Rieng.
