Cambodia Welcomes Over 7.8 Million Tourists During Three-Day Water Festival

Cambodia’s Royal Water Festival in 2024 attracted an impressive 7,844,388 tourists over three days, with Phnom Penh leading as the top destination, receiving 6,292,187 visitors. This remarkable turnout underscores the festival’s significance as a cornerstone of Cambodia’s cultural heritage, according to a report shared by Samdech PM Hun Manet on 18 November 2024.

Of the total visitors, 7,755,092 were domestic tourists, while 89,296 were international visitors.
