Exciting Announcement: New Homes for Veterans!

In a heartfelt initiative, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, alongside Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, has proudly announced the construction of 100 houses annually for veterans and retirees over the next five years, from 2026 to 2030.

This announcement was made during the extraordinary general assembly of the Cambodian Veterans Association on September 29, 2025, highlighting the government’s commitment to supporting those who have served the nation. Samdech Techo emphasized that this initiative is designed to alleviate hardships and enhance the quality of life for Cambodian veterans and retirees.

In a remarkable demonstration of generosity, a total of 540 houses will be constructed in 2025 alone. This includes 100 homes funded by Samdech Techo and an additional 440 homes contributed by compassionate philanthropists.

Looking ahead, Samdech Techo Hun Sen has promised to continue reviewing housing initiatives for veterans beyond 2030, demonstrating a long-term commitment to their welfare. This initiative is a significant step towards ensuring that our dedicated veterans and retirees receive the support they deserve.
