Cambodia’s Trade Surges to Over USD 52.5 Billion in First Ten Months of 2025

Cambodia’s international trade continued its strong upward momentum in 2025, reaching USD 52.57 billion in the first ten months of the year—a robust 16.5% increase compared to the same period in 2024. The data was released by the General Department of Customs and Excise on November 10, 2025.

Exports remained a major driver of growth, increasing to nearly USD 25 billion, a 15.2% rise from the USD 21 billion recorded during the same period last year.

The United States maintained its position as Cambodia’s top export destination, purchasing goods worth more than USD 10 billion, a significant 26.4% increase year-over-year. Vietnam followed with USD 3.1 billion in imports, a 3% increase, while China purchased more than USD 1.3 billion in Cambodian products. Other key markets included Japan (over USD 1.3 billion), Spain (around USD 985 million), the United Kingdom, Thailand, France, Belgium, Italy, South Korea, Mexico, and Australia.

Cambodia’s export portfolio continued to demonstrate diversity, led by garments, leather goods, footwear, travel accessories, handbags, cereals, rubber, furniture, and electrical machinery and equipment.

The strong performance underscores Cambodia’s expanding presence in global trade and highlights the resilience of its economy amid evolving international market conditions. Analysts will be closely monitoring whether this growth trajectory continues through the end of the year.
