French Luxury Brand Metal Jewellery Opens New Factory in Cambodia, Boosting Local Industry & Jobs

Metal Jewellery Cambodia, a renowned French jewellery brand, officially opened its production and assembly factory for metal and plastic jewellery on 9 November 2024.

The inauguration, led by HE Chea Vuthy, Secretary General of the Cambodian Investment Committee, marks a major milestone following the company’s investment permit approval in June 2023.

HE Chea Vuthy emphasised the significance of Metal Jewellery’s investment, which underscores Cambodia’s skilled workforce and favourable business environment.

He stated that Metal Jewellery’s presence will boost the Cambodian economy, create high-value jobs, and elevate the local jewellery industry through advanced technology and world-class craftsmanship.

He highlighted that choosing a special economic zone was a strategic decision for the company, providing benefits such as attractive incentives, streamlined administrative processes, reliable electrical infrastructure, efficient transportation networks, and state-of-the-art logistics—all contributing to operational efficiency and profitability.​ ​​(Read more)
