Aurelius Healthcare Wants to Expand Investment in Cambodia’s Healthcare Sector

Aurelius Healthcare, a healthcare company, is looking to further expand its investment in Cambodia by investing in high-quality healthcare services. This intention was expressed in a meeting between Prime Minister Hun Sen and Dato’ Amir Firdaus Abdullah, Chairman and Managing Director of Aurelius Healthcare, on May 27, 2025.

On the occasion, a representative of Aurelius Healthcare said that the company has a vision to further expand its business operations in Cambodia by investing in high-quality healthcare services and contributing to human resource development through the transfer of skills, experience, and investment in human capital in hospitals in Cambodia.

In response, the King said that the government has been paying attention to promoting and strengthening the health base at the local level by building and strengthening health infrastructure and strengthening the capacity of health workers in health centers, referral hospital,s and establishing two regional hospitals in Siem Reap and Kampong Cham provinces, etc.

Therefore, the King welcomed the company’s decision to invest in Cambodia, as the company’s interest in investing in the healthcare sector is in line with the priority policies of the Royal Government of Cambodia. At the same time, the King also encouraged the company to continue to strengthen cooperation with partners in Cambodia, aiming to contribute to providing high-quality and affordable health and treatment services to the people of Cambodia.

Please note that Aurelius Healthcare’s business operations include opening large hospitals in many ASEAN countries, including Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand. Currently, the company has also partnered with STSK Investment Group in Cambodia.
