Australian Conglomerate FreshStart Eyes Major Investments Across Cambodia’s Key Sectors

Aegros and FreshStart Logistics, a subsidiary of FreshStart, have unveiled plans to significantly expand their investments in Cambodia, targeting three pivotal sectors: logistics, energy, and healthcare. This strategic move was disclosed during a meeting between Mr. Daniel Phillips, President of FreshStart Company, and Prime Minister Hun Manet at the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit in Melbourne on 24 March 2024.

Mr. Phillips highlighted FreshStart Logistics’ extensive global presence, specialising in logistics, supply chain, and warehousing services, while Aegros focuses on healthcare. Mr. Phillips expressed the company’s keen interest in exploring investment opportunities within Cambodia, citing its potential in the aforementioned sectors.

PM Hun Manet acknowledged Cambodia’s investment potential and encouraged companies to delve deeper into the country’s opportunities. Regarding the healthcare sector, he emphasised Cambodia’s commitment to enhancing local health services and combating counterfeit medicines.

The PM encouraged continued discussions between FreshStart and Cambodian partners, especially with the Ministry of Health, underscoring the government’s support for foreign investments that contribute to Cambodia’s growth and development.
