Cambodia Receives Over US$4bn FDI in 2022

In 2022, Cambodia received foreign investment inflows worth US$4.6 billion, an increase of 7.5% compared to 2021, according to the report of the Council for the Development of Cambodia. 

Foreign direct investment (FDI) in the SEZ accounted for 27%, while investments outside the SEZ accounted for 73%. 

Meanwhile, in 2022, local investors had a total investment of US$2.7 billion (75.7%) while Chinese investment shared US%1.4 billion (30%), Hong Kong US$116 million (2.47%) and Japan US$62 million (1.32%).
