Cambodian Private Commercial Center in Atsugi of Japan officially inaugurated

The Cambodian Private Commercial Center, which serves business affairs between Cambodia and Japan located in Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture of Japan, has been officially inaugurated on 18 June 2022.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Japan, HE Tuy Ry said the establishment of this Cambodian Private Commercial Center is a new achievement through the cooperation of the private sector in Japan and professional institutions in Cambodia, with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Cambodia as the facilitator.

The ambassador added that this centre is a bridge and a place for Japanese businessmen, investors and the general public to come directly for contact, visit Cambodian potential products, ask for information, laws and regulations and solve questions as the basis for business investment decisions between Cambodia and Japan.

The Cambodian Private Commercial Center was established with the permission of the Ministry of Commerce of Cambodia on 17 March 2022, with the aim of attracting foreign investment and finding markets to expand the export of Cambodian products, especially linking diplomatic ties, economic, trade and tourism of both countries.
