CCA to Postpone Business Networking Event Over Community Infection Concern

The Cambodian Constructors Association (CCA) has decided to postpone the business networking event, which was scheduled for December 18, as the government has banned all social gathering after the recent spike of community infection (so-called the November 28 Community Incident).

CCA Secretariat General Manager Mr Chhiv Sivpheng said, “As the COVID-19 once again harms our community, Neak Oknha Pung Kheav Se, the association’s president, instructed us to postpone the event, which was scheduled to be held on December 18 2020.”

The association has yet to set the new date for the event, waiting until there is a further notice from the government or until the COVID-19 situation is better.

CCA is the first and largest construction association in Cambodia, representing almost 200 construction-related companies. Every year, CCA also organises Cambodia’s largest construction exhibition showcasing thousands of products.

However, the exhibition this has been postponed from late 2020 to any appropriate time in 2021 due to the pandemic. (Read more)
