302 hectares of Land in Takhmao to be Integrated into Phnom Penh

Over 300 hectares of land in Takhmao town of Kandal province will be integrated into Dangkor district of Phnom Penh, to address the land impact and facilitate the implementation of the Boeung Tumpun and Boeung Choeung Ek satellite cities, according to the Notice No. 914, dated October 19.

The Five villages of Takhmao town includes Stung Chrov village, Prek Tapov village (Doeum Mean commune), Prek Anchanh village (Prek Russey commune), Prek Long village (Ta Tkol commune) and Batachi village (Prek Hoor commune).

Originally, the land size in this area was 376 hectares, but after updating the demographic boundaries and site inspections, there was a request to amend to 302 hectares.

At the same time, the government will also cut 2 hectares of land from Chak Angre Krom commune of Meanchey district, and given to Doeum Mean commune of Takhmao city.​ (Read more)
