WANLI TIRE, A Giant company from Guangzhou China, Explores Lucrative Investment Prospects in Cambodian Tire Production

In a significant move that could boost Cambodia’s manufacturing market, WANLI TIRE CORPORATION LIMITED, a prominent tire manufacturer based in Guangzhou and Hebei, People’s Republic of China, has expressed keen interest in investing in tire production within Cambodia.

During a meeting held on May 30, 2023, HE Chea Vuthy, Deputy Secretary General of the Cambodian Investment Committee / Cambodian Special Economic Zone Committee of the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC), engaged in discussions with a delegation from WANLI TIRE CORPORATION LIMITED.

The talks revolved around the extensive investment opportunities present in Cambodia and the country’s business-friendly environment, bolstered by attractive incentives outlined in the Investment Law of Cambodia.

HE Chea Vuthy, emphasizing the potential for investment in Cambodia, encouraged the company to thoroughly evaluate the strategic economic hubs and key potentials within the country when making their investment decisions.

WANLI TIRE acknowledged Cambodia as an exceptionally promising and enticing investment destination for its overseas ventures. The company’s decision to explore tire production within Cambodia signifies its confidence in the nation’s thriving economic climate and highlights the potential for fruitful cooperation between Cambodia and China.

It is worth noting that Cambodia currently boasts three existing tire factories, including the ones in Bavet City, Svay Rieng province (read more), and a recently inaugurated facility in Sihanoukville (read more).
