Cambodia-Australia Collaborate to Unveil Investment Handbook to Fuel Economic Growth

The Council for the Development of Cambodia and the Australian Embassy have jointly unveiled a comprehensive investment handbook. The book, launched by Nicholas Moore, Australia’s Special Envoy to Southeast Asia, and HE Sok Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Secretary-General of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, on 11th July 2023, serves as a vital resource for investors seeking to navigate Cambodia’s investment landscape.

The handbook reflects the close collaboration between Australia and Cambodia and aims to provide valuable insights into key investment laws and processes in Cambodia. Drawing upon the experiences and lessons learned by investors in the past, the book also shares knowledge from government representatives and the private sector, offering practical guidance for both Australian and foreign investors interested in capitalizing on the opportunities available in the Cambodian market. With a specific focus on the Investment Law (LOI) 2021, the handbook equips investors with the necessary tools to make informed investment decisions.
