Cambodian jewellery supplier Linda Gold Crucible has partnered with French home furniture supplier Conforama to bring their furniture to the Cambodian market, according to a press release.

On 03 April 2019, both companies signed a memorandum of understanding as a trading partner at Raffles Hotel Le Royal Phnom Penh.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Ms Song Thida, Director of Linda Gold Crucible, said that the two companies have been studying the market for months in Cambodia, and the partnership is something to be proud of as Conforama is one of the largest companies in France and the second largest in Europe.

Meanwhile, Conforama representative Mr Stanislas Conseiller said that the decision to invest in Cambodia is because the country has a stable economy and is developing continuously, creating opportunities for young consumers to get modern, high quality home furniture at a reasonable price. He added that this factor will enable Conforama to expand with more shops in the Cambodian market.

According to Mr Stanislas Conseiller, Conforama currently earns €3,500 million a year, and has more than 14,000 staff at 337 outlets in eight countries worldwide.
