Cambodia’s Air Passenger Traffic Jumps 14% to 5.66 Million in First 10 Months of 2025

PHNOM PENH, Cambodia – Cambodia recorded a significant increase in air traffic, welcoming over 5.66 million passengers through its airports in the first ten months of 2025 (January to October), representing a 14% rise compared to the same period in 2024.

According to a recent report from the State Secretariat of Civil Aviation (SSCA), the three operating international airports—Techo International Airport, Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport, and Sihanouk International Airport—received a combined total of over 5.66 million passengers.

Data also shows that the three airports handled 52,954 flight movements during this period, marking a 12% increase year-over-year. Furthermore, air cargo volume also saw a notable increase, reaching 74,912 tonnes during the ten months, a 14% growth.

Currently, four national airlines and 30 international airlines operate regular flights to and from Cambodia’s three international airports.

H.E. Sinn Chanserey Vutha, Secretary of State and Spokesperson for the SSCA, previously forecasted that Cambodia would receive approximately 7.5 million air passengers for the entire year of 2025, which would represent a 20% increase compared to 2024.
