CDC Approves Four Investment Projects Worth about US$8.4M in PP & Sihanoukville

The Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC) has given permits to four private firms to qualified investment in four projects worth US$8.4 million in Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville.

The first company is Xiantong Wire and Cable Co., Ltd., investing US$5 million in building a factory to produce wires, cables, and extension cords in Sihanoukville SEZ.

The second company is Neutralize (Cambodia) Industrial Co., Ltd., investing US$1 million to establish a packaging factory in Sihanoukville SEZ.

The third company is Cambodian Longwan Light Industry Co., Ltd., which is investing US$1 million to establish a factory to produce bags and shoes in Sihanoukville SEZ.

The fourth company is LUUS KH CO., LTD., which is investing US$1.4 million to establish a factory to produce and assemble kitchen materials in Royal SEZ in Phnom Penh.

According to the CDC, these four projects will help create up to 540 jobs for local people.
