Citizen across Cambodia can improve road quality through new mobile app

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) on 13 December, 2018 has created new history with the launch of new mobile app aimed at improving road quality across Cambodia.

Called Road Care, this phone application is the world first road maintenance program created by Cambodians under the 100-day mission instructed by MPWT. This application enables citizen to participate in improving the quality of road construction. By downloading this app into the phones, citizens are able to report road damages or pothole across the country directly to the authority.

Through this program, application user can upload photos or video clips of the damaged road so the task force team can take action immediately. After obtaining report, disseminated task force team across 25 provincial departments will take action as quickly as possible in the exact location shown by this smart program.

Starting from 13 December, 2018, everyone can download and use Road Care from App Store for iPhone users and Play Store for Android phones such as Samsong.
