Eco-friendly Mixed-use Development Project Underway on Mao Tsetoung Blvd

With the increasing numbers of construction projects throughout Phnom Penh, sustainable construction incorporated with an eco-friendly concept is becoming a new trend in the construction sector in Cambodia.

This new trend reflects the presence of a new mixed-use development project called The Point, which is designed with an integration of the concept of nature with other functions of a modern urban environment.

Located on Mao TseToung Boulevard Phnom Penh, The Point is a mixed-use development project that features a 2,200-square metre community mall and a 9,200- square metre international standard office building.

The project is being developed by 3DS Property Management for investor Po Sothearak and is designed by award-winning Cambodian architects Re-Edge. Upon completion of construction in 2019, The Point will be managed by renowned real estate firm CBRE Cambodia. In addition, CBRE will also be the leasing agent of the 6-storey office building.

The project began construction on 12 December, 2018, and will feature energy saving techniques, large trees around the site, a park setting, and a largely pedestrianised streetscape. With all these features, the project will become an attractive place to visit.
