China emerges as the leading investor, contributing a remarkable 83.5 trillion riels (approximately US$20.59 billion) to Cambodia’s FDI landscape. This significant influx of funds reflects the country’s robust economic growth and its increasing prominence on the global investment map.

The report further highlights the diverse sectors attracting FDI inflows, encompassing finance, manufacturing, real estate, hotels and resorts, agriculture, hydropower, and construction.

Notably, the real estate sector has received substantial investment, totaling approximately 21.5 trillion riels, while the construction sector follows closely with 9.8 trillion riels.
