Five Major Enterprises in Kampong Thom Open Over 3,000 Job Positions for Local Workers

The National Employment Agency collaborates with provincial industry leaders to provide immediate employment solutions for former migrant workers and job seekers

Kampong Thom province is seeing a significant boost in employment opportunities as five prominent companies and factories have announced more than 3,000 vacancies. This recruitment drive, specifically targeting former migrant workers and approximately 700 local job seekers, was facilitated through a recent job forum organized by the National Employment Agency (NEA) under the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training. According to an announcement released on February 15, 2026, the forum serves as a vital bridge between the private sector and the local workforce, offering immediate placement for those in search of stable livelihoods.

Among the participating enterprises, Thaco Agri led recruitment efforts, seeking 2,000 employees to support its expanding agricultural operations. In the manufacturing sector, Yully International (Cambodia) Garment Co., Ltd sought 500 workers, while Ventura Leatherware MFY (CD) Co., Ltd offered 300 positions. Additionally, C.R.C.K 2 Rubber Development announced 250 vacancies, and Bien Heak Investment Co., Ltd joined the initiative to provide further opportunities for the local community.

These efforts underscore the government’s commitment to facilitating job placement and supporting citizens in transitioning to local employment. By bringing major employers directly to the provincial level, the NEA aims to reduce unemployment and ensure that the skills of former migrant workers are effectively utilized within the Kingdom’s growing economy. This initiative marks another successful step in Kampong Thom’s ongoing economic development and social welfare strategy.
