MLMUPC Issues Over 300k of Land Titles in 2022

The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction has issued 315,441 land titles, according to the ministry’s latest report. 

Meanwhile, from the beginning of implementation until the end of September 2022, the ministry registered and issued a total of 6,663,977 titles to people, equivalent to 95.2% of the estimated 7 million plots. 

Among those, over 6 million titles were issued with a collective registration system while 6 million others were case-by-case registrations. As of September 2022, the government registered 54,018 condominiums (46,595 in Phnom Penh, 7,410 in Sihanoukville and 13 in Siem Reap) and transferred 12,753 co-ownership building titles (3,060 Cambodians, 9,274 foreigners, and 419 companies). 

In 2022, the government approved a total of 3,827 construction projects nationwide with a total construction area of more than 6.5 million square meters. (Read more)
