Okhna Mong Reththy to Build 10km Trunk Road Project for Agro-Tourism Resort in Kampong Speu

Okhna Mong Reththy has unveiled plans for a 10-kilometre trunk road within the Mong Reththy Sen Chey agro-tourism development resort. This visionary project is poised to draw national and international tourists, as announced on Mong Reththy’s official Facebook page on 29 September 2023.

The proposed lorry road will stretch for a total of 10,000 metres (equivalent to 10 kilometres), with the road comprised of a 5,000-metre route to the destination and another 5,000-metre section for the return journey. The endeavour will commence with the deployment of the first batch of 50 lorries.

Undertaking this ambitious construction project comes with its unique challenges, particularly due to the need to traverse numerous waterfalls and streams along the way. As such, it is estimated that the project will span between 10 to 12 months to complete.

Furthermore, Neak Oknha envisions another addition to the Mong Reththy Sen Chey agro-tourism development resort—a 5-kilometre road. This road will serve as a gateway to beckon both local and international travellers who seek solace in the pristine air and lush mountainous forests of Kram Thmor, a mere 50 kilometres away from the bustling heart of Phnom Penh.
