Phnom Penh Municipal Court to Relocate to State-of-the-Art School of Justice in OCIC Development Zone

The Phnom Penh Municipal Court and Prosecutor’s Office are set to relocate to a new location in the OCIC Development Zone, according to an announcement by the Phnom Penh Municipal Court on 26 April 2023.

The move is scheduled to take place on 12 June 2023. The Phnom Penh Municipal Court will move from its current location at building 25, Street 271, Sangkat Veal Vong, Khan 7 Makara, to the School of Justice at Lot B, OCIC Development Zone, Lok Ta Krahorm Kor Street, Prek Leap Village, Sangkat Prek Leap, Khan Chroy Changva, Phnom Penh.

The new School of Justice building in the OCIC development area spans 7 floors and has a total area of 19,956 square meters. It was opened on 26 October 2020 and is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities to ensure efficient and effective judicial proceedings. (Read more)

The Court of Appeal of Phnom Penh and the Attorney General of the Court of Appeal of Phnom Penh has also been relocated to a new location in the OCIC Development Zone from 9 January 2023, according to the same announcement. (Read more)

The move to the OCIC Development Zone is part of the government’s effort to develop the area and improve access to justice for the people of Phnom Penh. The OCIC Development Zone is a strategic location that offers easy access to transportation and modern infrastructure, making it an ideal location for the judiciary to carry out its functions.
