Pioneering Sustainable Building Practices: Archetype Cambodia Office Achieves LEED Gold Certification

Archetype Cambodia, a leading architectural and engineering consultancy, has been awarded the prestigious LEED Green Building Rating System Certification, achieving a Gold level under the v4.1 Operations and Maintenance: Interiors rating system.

This recognition showcases the company’s dedication to environmental stewardship, resource efficiency, and sustainability, leading the green journey of the construction industry in Cambodia.

Founded in 2003, Archetype Cambodia has been a frontrunner in the construction consultancy industry, providing sustainable designs that meet international standards while adhering to local regulations. With a team of over 80 employees in Cambodia, the company has successfully completed more than 140 industrial, real estate and hospitality projects, earning a reputation for innovation and contributing to iconic developments across the country.

On DD.MM.2024, Archetype Cambodia was awarded the prestigious LEED Green Building Certification, achieving a Gold level under the v4.1 Operations and Maintenance: Interiors rating system with an impressive 72 points. The LEED certification process was guided by Tran Huu Anh Tuan, Green Design Manager of Archetype Group. He highlighted the company’s comprehensive approach to sustainability, which included conducting a walk-through energy audit to optimize building system energy efficiency and an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) audit to ensure a healthy, comfortable, and efficient indoor environment for all staff and visitors. Additionally, robust solid waste management and recycling initiatives were implemented to minimize waste and promote a circular economy.
