PP Authority starts restoring,  decorating city for upcoming 2023 SEA Game

Phnom Penh authorities are beginning to repair and improve various roads throughout Phnom Penh in preparation for the 2022 ASEAN Summit and the 32nd SEA Games and the 12th ASEAN Para Games 2023 to be held in Phnom Penh.

According to the meeting of Phnom Penh Capital Administration

On October 6, 2022, led by HE Khuong Sreng, Governor of the Board of Governors of Phnom Penh.

HE Governor instructed the relevant departments to decorate and equip the lights of parks and main roads in Phnom Penh, paint the corners of the road and repair the chicken coop, Carola, and sewer in some places. Special damage to the infrastructure of Victory Blvd. and the section of National Road No. 6 in Phnom Penh to the border of Kandal province.

Recently, HE Sun Chanthol also reminded the technical working group as well as the Capital-Provincial Department of Public Works and Transport to close the chicken coop in the rainy season, which is rich in the rain this year. The road must be abandoned, making it difficult for people to travel, especially to facilitate the immediate connection of roads that are cut off by floods.
