Construction of NR No. 10 Reached 88.38% and Tallest Bridge Progressing Steadily, On Track for March 2025 Opening

As of the end of June 2024, the construction of NR No. 10, connecting Koh Kong, Pursat, and Battambang provinces, has reached 88.38% completion, while the tallest bridge, spanning 530 meters, has reached 43.50% completion. The road is slated for trial use by the end of March 2025, as per the latest update from the Ministry of Public Works and Transport published on 1 June 2024.

The overall progress of road construction stands at 80.26%, with the bridge work achieving 93.23%. The tallest bridge, measuring 530 meters, is also at 43.50% completion, with trial use scheduled for the end of March 2025. Additionally, drainage work across the road is 99.82% complete, while drainage work along the road and the retaining wall stands at 89.84% completion.

Despite the ongoing rainy season, travel along NR 10 remains relatively smooth, though caution is advised due to some sections being covered with red gravel and potential slipperiness during heavy rain.

NR No. 10 is a Grade III double-paved road (DBST) with a total length of 198.518 km and a width of 9 meters. Funded by the Chinese government, the project has a total cost exceeding US$188 million, significantly enhancing regional connectivity and infrastructure development. (Read more)
