Royal Group to Spearhead Development on 10 Hectares of Boeung Ta Mok Land, Backed by Government Allocation

The Cambodian government has designated 10 hectares of Boeung Ta Mok (Boeung Kob Srov) to the Royal Group, represented by Neak Oknha Kith Meng. The decision is encapsulated in Sub-Decree No. 105, dated 29 May 2023.

The allocated land, measuring 10 hectares, is situated in Sangkat Pansang, Khan Prek Pnov, Phnom Penh. This transformation, detailed in Sub-Decree No. 20, dated 3 February 2016, redefines Boeung Ta Mok’s status. Initially spanning 3,239.7 hectares, it was classified as state-owned public property. With this shift, 10 hectares now transition into the private property of the state.

Crucially, this allocation to the Royal Group, led by Neak Oknha Kith Meng, comes with state-bearing taxes and duties borne by the state.

Boeung Ta Mok has witnessed various transformations in recent years, reflecting Cambodia’s commitment to land development. Earlier this year, on 4 January, the government allocated more than 13 hectares to Mr Lahn Phea, marking another strategic allocation. (Read more)
