Gov’t Announces Property Tax Deadline: September 30, 2023

The General Department of Taxation has issued a reminder to all property owners, emphasizing the importance of fulfilling their property tax and land tax obligations by September 30, 2023. The announcement, dated June 22, 2023, serves as a prompt for property owners who have yet to meet their tax declaration requirements.

Property owners have the option to pay their taxes at the General Department of Taxation, the provincial or Khan tax branch in the location of the property, or any authorized bank branch partnered with the General Department of Taxation. Additionally, the convenient “GDT Taxpayer App” is available for download from the App Store or Play Store, providing an accessible and user-friendly platform for tax payment.

It is essential for property owners to adhere to the deadline, as failure to submit the tax return on time may result in administrative penalties in accordance with the prevailing tax laws.
