The rehabilitation of NR 10 has reached nearly 93% completion, while the tallest bridge along the route has been completed to 79%

As of the end of October, the construction of National Road No. 10—which connects the provinces of Koh Kong, Pursat, and Battambang—has achieved a completion rate of 92.94%. The highest bridge on this road, which spans 530 meters, is currently 79% finished and is scheduled for completion in June 2025.

This information comes from a site inspection conducted by HE Bong Bun Hourn, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and Project Manager, on November 1, 2024.

National Road No. 10 is open for temporary travel; however, caution is advised as some sections are still made of red gravel and may be prone to slipping during heavy rain.

The current road conditions are as follows:

– From PK0 (Samlot) to PK60 (Two Crocodiles): rubber surface

– From PK60 to PK85: red gravel

– From PK85 to PK112 (Osom): rubber surface

– From PK112 to PK130: red gravel (some sections may slip when it rains)

– From PK130 to PK160: rubber surface

– From PK160 to PK175: red gravel

– From PK175 to PK198 (Koh Kong): rubber surface

It is important to note that National Road No. 10 is classified as a Grade III double-paved road (DBST) with a total length of 198.518 kilometres and a width of 9 meters. The project has been financed by the Chinese government at a total cost of over USD 188 million. (Read more)
