Tourism Master Plan to Transform 30-Island Ecotourism Community

The master plan for the development of the Koh Samsip (30 Island) ecotourism community for five years 2022-2026 will transform the ecotourism community into an attractive area in Kratie province.

The dissemination workshop of the master plan for the development of the ecotourism community for five years 2022-2026 was held on 28 June 2022 in the presence of Kratie Deputy Governor Ms Kham Sopheap, and relevant officials.

Koh Samsip Ecotourism Community is a rich natural site located 95km from the roundabout of Kratie city, located in Khsach Leav village, Koh K’nhe village, and Poun Chea village, O’Kreang commune, Sambo district, Kratie province.

Spread along the Mekong River, the community has natural potential products to attract tourists such as small islands, white sand beaches, forests, rivers, wildlife, birds, and many kinds of fish.

Visitors can take a boat trip to see the birds and the local scenery, camp, play sports, fish, walk, watch the sunset, eat, drink and sit and chat around the fire at night.
