US Firm Selects Sihanoukville for Real Estate Agent Training Campaign

Century 21 Zillion Holding chose Sihanoukville as the first province after Phnom Penh to launch its mega campaign of training 3,800 qualified real estate agents nationwide. The campaign is considered a strategic move against the COVID-19 crisis, as it can help boost the economy by creating more jobs.

The training event was held on 24 July 2020 at the Sokha Beach Resort Sihanoukville, with the presence of five real estate experts and nearly 200 participants.

President of Cambodian Valuers and Estate Agents Association (CVEA) Chrek Soknim said at the seminar that Century 21 Zillion Holding’s decision to organise the training in Sihanoukville was good timing as it can help create more economic opportunities and development during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“This campaign will provide more opportunities for the local people especially teenagers or adults, to work part-time as real estate agents and earn high incomes,” said Mr Soknim.

He added that as the country is facing an economic crisis, the real estate market needs real estate professionals even more. Investors will be extra-cautious before investing, so need advice from those qualified agents.

“Therefore, the land specialists training campaign will help boost the real estate and financial industry in Sihanoukville to grow even further,” said Mr Sokhim.

The CEO of Century 21 Cambodia Ms Grace Rachany Fong said that Sihanoukville would become an international commercial hub like Shenzhen in the near future; thus qualified agents are highly needed.

“These are the opportunities that everyone should grab. Anyone can be trained to become real estate agents, especially in the high potential city like Sihanoukville,” said Ms Fong.

The Century 21 Zillion Holding Real Estate will continue its campaign across the country, including with 14 districts in Phnom Penh and the 24 provinces of Cambodia.

Venue and dates for the next campaign will be announced on the Facebook page of Century 21 Zillion Holding, or in other media.
