Four Private Firms Join Hands with Local Authorities to Boost SHV Development

Four private companies have entered a partnership with the Sihanoukville Provincial Administration to attract more investors and boost development within the province.

The MoU on attracting investment to contribute to the development of SHV was signed by the representatives of the five parties on Wednesday 17 November.

According to the provincial administration’s press release, the four companies include Continent Assets Management Co., Ltd, PLMP Venture Capital Co., Ltd, PropNex Cambodia Co., Ltd and Ly Ly Kampong Seila Special Economic Zone Co., Ltd.

Sihanoukville Governor HE Kuoch Chamroeun said at the signing ceremony that the cooperation with the four companies will encourage more investors and developers into the province.

“Under this cooperation, we will also launch new innovative projects to promote rehabilitation and development of the socio-economic situation of the province as SHV is one of Cambodia’s important economic poles,” said HE Chamroeun.

“The cooperation is in line with the government’s master plan to transform Preah Sihanouk province into a multi-purpose model special economic zone and to make Sihanoukville an attractive financial market for foreign investors,” he added.
