Glory Flame Holdings plans construction and real estate expansion into Cambodia

Sample project plan of Glory Flame

Hong Kong-based construction company, Glory Flame Holdings Limited, is seeking opportunities to expand into Cambodia, according to its interim results report dated 10 August 2018 for the six months to 31 June 2018.

After incorporating indirectly with two wholly-owned subsidiaries, namely, W.A.N.K.E. Investment Co., Ltd and Chiuwai Construction Co., Ltd the company is now looking for business opportunities in Cambodia.

The report states that the expansion plan came as a result of a preliminary study of the business environment in Cambodia showing that the country has numbers of factors making it favourable for doing business. The company cited rapid urbanization, which will increase to 44% by 2030, a plentiful labour force due to a young population, a key geographical location within ASEAN and Cambodia’s 10-year industrial development plan formulated in line with China’s Belt and Road Initiative.

However, the company is still seeking preliminary advice on Cambodia laws and business practice in terms of what steps should be taken in order to capture the optimum business opportunities in the country.

Glory Flame Holdings Limited is one of the leading companies in Hong Kong with its main business activities in concrete demolition services and green building research and application.
