The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) has announced the opening of the world’s largest religious monument worth about US$100 million in 2024, according to the Economic Times on 29 August 2022.

Named the Temple of Vedic Planetarium, the temple is located in Mayapur, West Bengal. When completed, it will be bigger than the St. Paul’s Cathedral located in the Vatican, the Taj Mahal in Agra, and Cambodia’s Angkor Wat.

This magnificent mansion can hold up to 10,000 worshipers in prayer, singing, and dancing to show their love for their religion.

Alfred Ford, the great-great-grandson of Henry Ford, the future owner of the Ford Motor Company, presided over the construction of the building and also contributed US$30 million to this construction project.
