Local firm signs MoU with Thai Corp importing robots to Cambodia for multiple industries

Local company AZ Group has signed an MoU with Thai company TKK Corporation to import automated robots into Cambodia for usage in various sectors from industry, and service, to construction and property.

Under this MoU, the two firms will set up a new business sector that imports Hi-Tech Robotic Systems and integrated platforms consisting of Service Robot, Industrial Robot, and Cira Core Technology, into Cambodia.

President of AZ Group Oknha Lim Bunsour said during the MoU signing ceremony last week that the MoU will change the face of Cambodia’s industry and services. Imported robots will be beneficial to multiple sectors including manufacturing, industry, and services.

AZ Group is the first company to import this kind of technology into the Cambodian market.

These robots will facilitate a wide range of industries and services such as being a receptionist at hotels, condominiums or restaurants, performing small-scale construction and interior design as well as moving heavy products inside factories.

Ly Sok Chhay, CEO of local real estate company LSCG, said the import of these automatic robots is a breakthrough not only for the industrial sector but also in the real estate sector in terms of after-sale service or property management service.
