MLMUPC organizes second construction law workshop

The Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction (MLMUPC) organized a second dissemination workshop on construction law for professionals in the construction sector at the Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel on 13 February.

H.E. Chea Sophara, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction stated, “The main goal of this law is to ensure the quality and the safety of construction in Cambodia.”

“The second goal is that construction must be on land that is in compliance with the land use plan, meet urbanization standards, and respect for public facilities such as drainage systems and other infrastructure.”

The first dissemination workshop on construction law for professionals was held on 14 January 2020 with almost 5,000 participants. (Read more)

However, in response to construction safety in Cambodia, the Ministry plans to organize the final dissemination workshop on construction law for those who could not join for the previous two events.
