Motor Cambodia Assembly Plant Worth Over US$20 million Officially Inaugurated

The Motor Cambodia Assembly Plant worth more than US$20 million in Pursat province was officially inaugurated on 16 June 2022 by His Excellency Hun Manet, Deputy Commander of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces and Commander of the Army.

Speaking at the event, HE Hun Manet expressed his great pride in the people of Pursat, especially the people of Krakor district because the US giant car manufacturer decided to invest in an assembly and installation plant so Ford can meet the needs of Cambodians.

This Ford assembly plant is an investment of US$21 million by RMA AUTOMOTIVE (CAMBODIA) which announced the investment in September 2021. (Read more)

The factory has been built on an area of ​​more than 4 hectares in Saravan village, Sna Ansa commune, Krakow district, Pursat province, and will be able to absorb about 500 workers for the production line to meet market demand.

The plant will assemble and assemble the Ford Ranger and Ford Everest, with plans to assemble a total of 4,500 vehicles in the first year to meet the needs of the Cambodian market alone.
