The financing agreement, symbolizing this commitment, was formalized at a signing ceremony between the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), represented by Ms. Alissar Chaker, UNDP Country Director for Cambodia, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of New Zealand, represented by HE Jonathan Kings, Ambassador of New Zealand to Cambodia. This momentous event took place on December 6, 2023.

Under this project, the Mine Authority has been diligently working on demining plans in the critical regions of Banteay Meanchey and Preah Vihear provinces.
