SchneiTec Dynamic Lists Green Bond Mobilising USD 50 million for Green Energy Development

SchneiTec Dynamic Co., Ltd has listed a green bond on the Cambodia Securities Exchange (CSX), mobilising USD 50 million for its green energy development project in Cambodia. The Official Green Bond Listing Ceremony was held on 11 April 2025, at the Cambodia Securities Exchange.

During the ceremony, HE Sou Socheat, a Delegate of the Government and Director General of the Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC), stated that the company’s green infrastructure bond issuance received technical assistance for the preparation of the green bond framework and financial support from a consultant or expert institution (Second Party Opinion) provided by S&P Global Rating. This was made possible through the “Cambodia Sustainability Bonds Initiative (CSBA)” program, a joint collaboration involving Cambodia’s Securities and Exchange Commission, UNESCAP, GGGI, CGIF, and GuarantCo.

SchneiTec Dynamic primarily focuses on producing solar power to supply Electricite du Cambodge, contributing to both the quantity and stability of electricity in Cambodia. According to a report from the Cambodian Stock Exchange, 25 listed companies, including 11 equity firms and 14 corporate bond firms, have collectively raised approximately USD 550 million in capital from the stock market. As the world increasingly turns towards sustainable practices, SchneiTec’s initiative serves as a beacon for other companies, highlighting the potential of green finance in driving positive change.
