Speciality Center​ at Calmette Hospital Breaks Ground

Minister of Health H.E Mam Bunhengpresided over the groundbreaking ceremony for the Speciality Center at Calmette Hospital yesterday morning.

With the intention to help improve standards and provide quality healthcare to as many people as possible, the Specialty Center will come equipped with advanced technological equipment to assist with smooth medical processes.

The design of the new centre allows for a 12-floor high building with two additional floors underground. To help patients get around each building with ease, it comes equipped with nine elevators and two escalators.

Each building provides care in different health specialties, from optometry to general surgery.

The Speciality Center is the product of support from the Cambodian government, national and international organisations and the French Embassy.
