Construction of US$2-million Kampong Speu Stadium Set for Completion by April 2022

Construction of the US$2-million stadium in Kampong Speu province is proceeding as normal and set for completion by April next year despite the fact that Cambodia is still affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kampong Speu Governor HE Vy Samnang said during the site inspection on Friday 23 July that by April 2022 at the latest, this beautiful stadium will definitely be completed in Kampong Speu province.

Located in Chabar Mon city, the project is being built on over 4 hectares of land under a US$2 million fund from the NagaWorld Foundation and is scheduled to be completed in time for the 2023 SEA Games.

Ground was broken on the project in February this year under the presidency of National Assembly member for Kampong Speu province HE Hun Many. (Read more)
