These counterfeit groups are exploiting the names and logos of reputable companies and institutions, such as Royal Group, Borey Peng Huoth, National Bank, and Canadia Bank, to lend an air of authenticity to their operations. The alarming rise of these scams was reported in recent communications from affected companies, prompting an urgent warning to the public on 1 October 2024.

These fraudulent groups frequently use images and names of prominent figures in government and business sectors, presenting themselves as official administrators to manipulate unsuspecting individuals into believing in their legitimacy.
