Shanghai Geoharbour Group has announced plans to broaden its investment portfolio in Cambodia, with a focus on developing additional special economic zones (SEZs) alongside constructing the Takhmao Techo International Airport. The Shanghai Geoharbour Group, a company with an impressive track record of over 200 major projects throughout Asia—including ports, airports, and artificial islands—is already actively involved in the Takhmao Techo International Airport project, which is nearing completion. The delegation expressed their interest in pursuing further investment opportunities within Cambodia’s SEZs, focusing on infrastructure development.

In response, the deputy prime minister highlighted ongoing projects such as the Funan Techo Expressway and the Port Expressway, representing lucrative investment prospects for local and international investors, including the Shanghai Geoharbour Group.
