China Minsheng Stone Aims to Invest in Artificial Marble Processing in Cambodia

China Minsheng Stone Industry Group aims to invest in artificial marble processing in Cambodia. This significant development was discussed during a meeting between HE Chea Wutty, Secretary General of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, and Mr. Mai Jianglong, Vice President of China Minsheng Stone Industry Group.

During the meeting, HE Chea Wutty warmly welcomed the company’s investment initiative, highlighting the favourable investment climate in Cambodia. He shared insights on the various incentives and support measures offered by the Royal Government, which aim to enhance the business environment and attract foreign investment.

Secretary General Chea Wutty emphasised the importance of making swift investment decisions to capitalise on potential profits and encouraged the company to utilise local raw materials wherever possible. This approach would not only contribute to the value chain but also support Cambodia’s local economy.

Currently, Cambodia is home to 68 companies engaged in the marble sector, managing a total of 90 projects across 11 provinces. Kratie province is a significant player in this industry, hosting 22 companies dedicated to marble processing, encompassing approximately 2,065 hectares of operational area. (Read more)
