Government Announces Temporary Opening of Cambodia’s Highest Bridge for New Year Celebration

In a festive announcement, the Cambodian government has declared the temporary opening of the country’s highest bridge in Pursat province, coinciding with the traditional National New Year celebrations.

From 11 -17 April 2025, the bridge will be accessible to motorcycles and small vehicles—typically used for tourist and family travel—from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. This initiative aims to ease traffic and enhance accessibility for citizens and visitors during this joyous occasion.

Constructed with a national budget of approximately USD 25 million, CRBC Company executed the project and is under the technical supervision of Guangzhou Wang An Company. Located in Chhay Luk village, O Som commune in Veal Veng district, the bridge represents a significant advancement in infrastructure for the region. (Read more)
