New 106-storey Commercial Building to Be Malaysia’s Tallest

Malaysia soon will see its tallest iconic new building, The Exchange 106, steals the title from the country’s current signature building, the Petronas Twin Towers.

The new building is a luxury commercial building stretching up in the heart of Malaysia’s international finance and business of TunRazakExchange (TRX). The building, an investment by Mulia Property Development, will become the tallest building in South East Asia and among the top 15 tallest buildings in the world.

According to the developer Mulia, on its website, The Exchange 106 is designed with a height of up to 492.3 metres or equal to 106 floors. In addition, the building is incorporated with sustainable design and is certified under the Malaysia green rating tool for buildings called Green Building Index (GBI). If completed on schedule, The Exchange 106 will be finished by the end of 2018.
