PP-SHV Expressway is CCRBC’s Biggest Project Worldwide

With the groundbreaking ceremony approaching, the developer of Phnom Penh-Sihanouk Expressway has said that this project is the company’s largest, according to the official Facebook post of the Cambodian Prime Minister.

Mr Weng Gang, Vice Chairman of China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC), constructor of the project, told Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen on 21 March 2019 that this US$2 billion project is one of its largest investments in Cambodia, and it is one of the biggest among 155 projects the company has invested in abroad.

In addition, Mr Weng Gang also added that CRBC is pleased to contribute to the growth of the Cambodian economy, in which it has already invested in many infrastructure projects in the country.

The Phnom Penh-Sihanouk expressway project will be 190km long and is 50 km shorter than the current 240km highway. Construction is scheduled to begin on 22 March 2019. (Read more)
