A delegation of investors from the Incheon Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) in South Korea has signaled a strong interest in establishing a dedicated facility for manufacturing toothpaste and toothbrushes within Cambodia. This proposed project is intended to serve both the local market and the broader export sector.

The interest was formalized during a meeting held on February 21, 2026, where His Excellency Chea Vuthy, Secretary General of the Cambodian Investment Board at the Council for the Development of Cambodia, met with Mr. Joo Bong Park, President of the ICCI. The discussion centered on reinforcing economic cooperation and enhancing bilateral investment frameworks between the two parties.

Mr. Joo Bong Park highlighted that Incheon is recognized as South Korea’s second-largest city and a critical hub for industry and logistics. He emphasized his commitment to promoting Cambodia as an attractive investment destination for Incheon-based entrepreneurs, aiming to support the modernization and diversification of Cambodia’s manufacturing base.

Recently, the Korea Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia (KOCHAM) also met with the Council for the Development of Cambodia to strengthen economic ties and promote a better investment climate in Cambodia.
